A note from Husayn Quli Khan Nizam al-Saltanah to his nephew (Riza Quli Khan Salar Mu‘azzam) enclosed with a letter from Amin Hazrat to Muhammad Isma‘il regarding holding a wedding and the amount of Mahr.

Regarding the marriage of the daughter of Muhtasham al-Mulk and son of Amjad al-Saltanah; Bashir al-Dawlah, head of the telegraph office, was present at the ceremony. The mahr is the village of Jayran.

Letter and marriage contract, 1898
The author talks about Muhammad Hasan’s insistence on getting married and having no other option, he had suggest to Muhammad Hasan to marry Sultan Khanum, daughter of the late Husayn ‘Ali, who was ten years old. On the back, there is a temporary marriage contract for ten years between Sultan Khanum, daughter of the late Husayn ‘Ali, and Mulla Muhammad Hasan, son of Mulla Asad Allah. The mahr is two tumans.

Letter written by the attorney of Sayyid Husayn's wife to the lower court, 1929
Sayyid Husayn coercively divorced his wife, in the presence of Sayyid Abu al-Qasim (prayer leader of ‘Ali mosque), with the wife waiving her mahr and the condition of no return after divorce. Now after five months, when she wants to marry another man, Sayyid Husayn claims that he wants to remarry her, even though her marriage contract has been abrogated.

Marriage contract of Nisaʼ Khanum with Muhammad Jaʻfar, 1869
The marriage contract of Nisaʼ Khanum, the daughter of Mulla Hasan (the cleric) with Muhammad Jaʻfar, the son of Mulla Muhammad Baqir on 20 July 1869. The mahr is 25 tumans, copper containers, a qalamkar bed covering, and one-twelfth of a building. On the verso, there is a letter in which the author writes that in a couple of days s/he will receive money from Ghulam Husayn and will buy the goods, and asks the adressee to inform the author about frankincense.

Terms of marriage between Makhluqah Khanum and Ghulamriza from Shiraz, 1912
Written by Ghulamriza from Shiraz: "first, I have to wait for Makhluqah Khanum to graduate from the American school; second, Makhluqah Khanum has a right to annul the marriage contract after her graduation; third, if Makhluqah Khanum consents, a second wedding ceremony has to take place; fourth, providing everything needed for the wedding and Makhluqah Khanum's house, her mahr, and share of inheritance; and fifth, if these conditions are not met, the marriage contract will be null." Petition by Mulla Karim's wife
Petition by the wife of Mulla Karim ‘Attar (herbalist) from Marand to Hujjat al-Islam regarding Shaykh Manaf, who had deprived the wife of Mulla Karim's brother from her mahr and rights, demanding that she should have proof of marriage while they had been married for 40 or 50 years. After Mulla Karim's death, Shaykh Manaf also deprived his wife, the petitioner, from her rights and assigned Dadashi from Huchqan as the guardian of her underage daughter. Then, they divided the child's share of inheritance between themselves.
